Ethel Stark - It Wasn't Tea Time

Here are two links to the wonderfully inspiring story of violinist, conductor and remarkable woman Ethel Stark , who organized and conducted the Montreal Women's Symphony Orchestra in the 1940s. She was a true feminist, and creative visionary in my opinion, and I'm certain she probably did not consider herself  to be, however I'm sure few would disagree.

Ethel Stark lived to be 101 and passed away in Feb 2012.

By the way, I think that all active artists/musicians/visionaries/creative people have that same potential to inspire others on some level. That's what we're here for isn't it!?

Thank you for making that point Betsy. Yes I wholeheartedly agree! We can't underestimate our capacity to inspire others or to be inspired by others. Definitely what we are here for!
