Living along side of a tidal river and being so close to the ocean, I can't help but think about water often, as water is what connects everyone and all of life.
I try to walk The Red Road, as I am very drawn to First Nations spirituality. My late husband was Metis heritage. I distinctly remember how very much he loved and honoured his grandmother, loved the good earth and all of life.
Today I learned about http://waterwalkersunited.com and found this video of First Nations grandmother Josephine Mandamin who has been directly involved for many years with Water Walkers United. Her wise "Words From The Water" says it all, and it is something we all need to seriously think about..
