This has been a week of great loss for many people in Canada. I want to dedicate this video in memory of those who died in Resolute and in memory of Jack Layton and for all those people we love who have gone Home. God bless them all.

I can so relate to loss, I lost my sister in June and now my Mom on Monday, 8/22. Loss has its own way of wounding, healing and regenerating one. Beautiful post...

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I know how this changes who we are. It's a very difficult phase of our lives we all go through. None the less, nothing quite ever really prepares us for it. It took me many years to begin to come to terms with my own mother's death, and in many ways the scar acts like an old wound and sometimes like it just happened.
